South West Scenery specialises in creating stunning and realistic scenery for theatre, film, television and advertising. Our scenic artists cut their teeth in the West End at the Royal Court Theatre and the Royal Opera House for companies such as ENO and the RSC.  In the mid 2000s the business expanded into film and television painting on commercials for the likes of Sainsburys and pop promos for Super Furry Animals and Stereophonics.  Our experience and expertise ensure that your vision is brought to life with paint finishes, textures and material choices carefully selected to suit each production.  From wood graining to stone, concrete and steel finishes from hard scenery on the stage or soundstage to backcloths and floor cloths in a theatrical environment to skies and street scenes on cycloramas in a soundstage.  SWS has tackled even the most challenging of briefs including recrating the world of Caravgio. for Simon Sharma's BBC Series the Power of Art.
